Terms and Conditions of Membership

1. Private Membership Association Status

This organization (“The River House Retreat ”) is a Private Membership Association

(PMA) formed by and for its members. The Association is a private, voluntary, and contractual

relationship between its members and is not open to the general public. All activities, services,

and communications are restricted to members only.

By applying for or maintaining membership, the Member affirms that they are joining a private

association and waive any claim that the Association is a public entity.

2. Membership Eligibility

Membership is available only to individuals who:

• Are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction),

• Apply voluntarily and are accepted by the Association,

• Agree to these Terms and Conditions,

• Agree to respect the private nature of the Association.

The Association reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.

3. Voluntary Participation

Membership is entirely voluntary. Members may resign at any time by providing written notice.

The Association may terminate membership at any time, with or without cause, if a Member

violates these Terms or acts contrary to the Association’s mission or values.

4. Private Communications and Activities

All information shared within the Association—including meetings, documents,

communications, services, and activities—is private and confidential and intended solely for

members.

Members agree not to disclose, share, reproduce, or distribute any private Association materials

or information to non-members without explicit written permission.

5. No Public or Government Oversight

Members understand and agree that:

• The Association operates in the private domain,

• Activities are conducted within the scope of private membership,

• The Association does not offer services to the general public,

• Members join of their own free will and personal responsibility.

6. Assumption of Risk

Members acknowledge that participation in the Association may involve inherent risks. Each

Member voluntarily assumes full responsibility for their participation and any outcomes resulting

from it.

7. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Members agree to:

• Release and hold harmless the Association, its officers, organizers, agents, and other

members from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from

participation,

• Waive the right to bring legal action against the Association except where prohibited by

law.

8. No Professional Advice

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Members agree to:

• Release and hold harmless the Association, its officers, organizers, agents, and other

members from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from

participation,

• Waive the right to bring legal action against the Association except where prohibited by

law.

9. Membership Fees (If Applicable)

Membership fees, dues, or contributions (if any) are voluntary contractual contributions to

support the Association and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

10. Code of Conduct

Members agree to:

• Act in good faith,

• Respect other members,

• Refrain from harassment, coercion, or illegal activity,

• Uphold the private and ethical standards of the Association.

Violation of this code may result in suspension or termination of membership.

11. Amendments

These Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time by the Association. Continued

membership constitutes acceptance of any amendments.

12. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the private contractual law of the Association and, where

applicable, the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Association is organized—without

converting the Association into a public entity.

13. Private Nature & Notice

This Association is a private membership association and is not a public entity. All interactions,

benefits, privileges, and obligations exist solely within the private domain by contract.

By entering or remaining within this Association, members expressly waive any presumption of

public jurisdiction over internal matters and agree that all affairs are governed exclusively by

private agreement, spiritual covenant, and internal rules

14. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By applying for and maintaining membership, the Member affirms that they:

• Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions,

• Agree to be bound by them,

• Enter into this private agreement knowingly and voluntarily.

By accessing and using the products, site or service you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use the proceed with any product, or service. Your continued use of the product or service following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed as your acceptance of those changes.
